Dan Pal has over 20 years of teaching experience. He currently teaches at DePaul University in Chicago. He has taught such courses as Film Appreciation, History of Film, Foundations of Television, The Big Picture: The Entertainment Industry, Film Philosophy, Screenwriting, Classical Hollywood Film Structure, and special topics courses on: Alfred Hitchcock, Woody Allen, The Coen Brothers, Paul Thomas Anderson, Richard Linklater, and LGBT Films. In 2015 he was selected Adjunct Professor of the Year at Moraine Valley Community College.
